Design is considered to be a luxury

Design is the unnecessary result of an ambitious aesthetic search, a form of advertising, an eccentric product of a team of imaginative people, a luxury and not a necessity.

Wrong! Design is exactly the opposite. It is a necessity.

Design, and more particularly graphic design, is the functional tool of every form of useful effort for communication, the meaningful content of advertising, the well-thought-out result of the work of a team of experts. It is an everyday need that looks like a luxury. It is an indicator of civilization and success.

Good design equals success!

Successful communication depends on the right choice of letters, the ingenious choice of images, the right choice of colours, the good arrangement of size in time and space, the balanced use of innovative and familiar artwork, the conversion of art into a practical visual message and the research that all this requires. In other words, a good design.

Everything relies on a good design: the effective use of a logo, a corporate identity, packaging, an informative leaflet or an advertising brochure, a sales tool, an advertisement, a website, a playbill, a book cover and many other tools of communication in our financial, social and cultural life.

The goal of a good design is not to produce something beautiful but something right, functional and effective. In this way, it makes use of what is beautiful and it turns it into an aesthetic standard. This is what it offers in the culture of every era, in every society.

Good design is the result of good choice!

As the product of high-quality professional work, good design is not a bright idea and it is not produced with the help of computer software. It requires searching, trying and testing, as well as many hours of careful and high-quality intellectual work. It requires trained professionals that never cease to learn even after many years of experience. It requires knowing reality very well and understanding the needs and enthusiasm for the target of communication.

Choose the right professional. Inform him correctly. Give him time, resources and the reward that he deserves. Listen carefully to his suggestions and trust his advice. Cooperate with him. He is not your supplier. He is an ally to your business effort.
